Welcome to our summer camp programs! Camp MoVal has been providing meaningful faith development through our summer camp programs since 1962.

The past couple years have been difficult with the Pandemic and not being able to gather with friends and family and not being able to do all the things we love to do. Camp MoVal is excited to announce that we will be open for summer 2022!

We are so excited to see you!

Remember to enroll in the camp based on the grade level a child has just completed

in the 2021-22 school year.

Please note, all attendees must have proof of completed COVID vaccinations & ages 12+ must have booster.

As part of our outdoor ministry programs, campers and participants will explore the outdoors, be part of a safe and caring environment that enables campers to deepen the faith experience and allows them to see their faith through a unique camp experience. Along with our faith-based curriculum, campers will rekindle old friendships and make new ones, grow themselves personally in the many activities of the camp and explore the wonderous outdoors!

We look forward to seeing you!

All Ages Camp

All Ages Camp (Grades 3rd through 12th)
Great opportunity to get to know fellow campers, hang out with friends, and have fun in a beautiful outdoor setting!

Family Camps

Family Camp
For families of all shapes and sizes! Kick-off the summer with a long weekend of recreation, relaxation, and renewal. Families can spend time on the lake, in the woods, at the pool, around the campfire, and in worship. A flexible schedule and relaxed pace allow for a wide range of interests and activities: fishing, canoeing, pedal boating, hiking, crafts, and more. Children 3 years and under are free. Camp starts on Thursday, July 7 at 10:00 a.m. and concludes on Saturday, July 9 at 11:00 a.m.

Adventures in Community
These camps are designed for adults (ages 18+) with special needs, who are active, and fairly high functioning. Most have some form of developmental disability. Campers participate in most traditional camp activities including swimming, canoeing, crafts, fishing, games, karaoke, and more, as well as exploring our faith. Camp starts at 4pm on Sunday and ends Friday at 9am.

Middle School

Middle School Camp (Grades 6-8)
Middle school campers enjoy the full range of camp activities—only taken up another notch. Opportunity for making deeper connections between faith and action, faith and relationship, faith and Creation, and faith and personal behavior provide challenging experiences for campers and leaders. As part of our core camping program, campers will get to spend an evening cooking in nature. Camp begins on Sunday at 4pm and ends Saturday morning at 9am.

Our Bodies, Our Faith (Grade 8 only)

At this camp we prepare 8th grade students to make healthy decisions in faithful and life-enhancing ways. We seek to provide age-appropriate, accurate information to equip campers to honor their goodness given by God, particularly around relationships and healthy sexuality. We are partnering with the Disciples of Christ for this program. Camp starts on Sunday at 4pm and ends on Saturday at 9am.

High School

High School Camp (Grades 9-12)
Join us along the lakeshore at MoVal as we seek to find God in our everyday life. This is a great time to renew old friendships and develop new ones, to experience the Spirit’s presence in the natural world, to grow closer to God and one another, and to examine the challenges in our lives. As part of our camping program, campers will get to spend an evening cooking and camping out. Camp begins on Sunday, July 17 at 4:00 p.m. and concludes on Friday, July 22 at 10:00 a.m.
